- Irony: the contrast between a situation of emergency of globe warming and a joyful attitude of human beings
- Overstatement: the globe warming is exaggerated as an emergency similar to a melting ice-scream.
Message: the earth is being destroyed due to the globe warming -an urgent problem facing human beings; however, man keeps indifferently and enjoys themselves.

- Irony: the contrast between the serious water pollution and the relaxing attitude of human beings
- Overstatement: the amount of waste water is so much that people can surf on it
- Message: the discharge of waste water is not controlled; therefore, the problem of water pollution is becoming more and more serious. However, human beings can do nothing about it, except for keeping a relaxing attitude.
